The Skagit River Delta serves as a wintering ground for hundreds of thousands of Snow Geese, Trumpeter Swans, and Bald Eagles. It's located at the north end of Puget Sound and is the mouth of the Skagit River which collects water from the northern Cascade Mountain Range and carries it to Puget Sound.

Ed Book is a Nature, Landscape, Wildlife, Travel, Stock, and Fine Art photographer who spends his time making photos, traveling to find sites and natural events to photograph, optimizing his image archive, studying photography and digital imaging and teaching photography and digital imaging.
